U.S. citizens traveling to Chile do not need to obtain a visa prior to their arrival. United States passport holders are required to pay a reciprocity fee ($160.00 USD) at the Santiago International Airport and will be issued a tourist card valid for 90 days. An extension is possible if needed. *International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required if arriving from an infected area within 5 days.

Your Visa Pages are identified in your passport atop each page as: Visas. The last 3 to 4 pages are utilized for Amendments and Endorsements. These are not usable pages for Travel Visa authorizations or entry/exit stamps. Effective January 1st, 2016 the U.S. Department of State will cease adding Visa Pages to existing passports, travelers will be required to renew their passports.
